Custom Scenery Sets Grouped Together

Not sure this is where to post this, but it seemed like a good place. Wabigbear (Wagi) and I are contacting creators as we speak to see if they would be willing to 1.) Update or include their stuff on the CS List. 2.) Allow CS Depot to host their stuff and 3.) Allow us to include their scenery in community-wide sets readily available to everyone. We are sending out personal messages to all the creators on the CS List that are also on SGW's forums. We have a letter already written. Wagi is starting with Z, and I am starting with A. We could use anyone's help with contacting other creators not on SGW or with sending out these pm's. So far, this is the list I have.

Whoever thought of this, i would like to say thank you to them, because there is quite few sets that i need and most of them have broken links and i just hope that this idea takes off, because then i would download lots of sets that i need.

Just a reminder to those designers who also gave permission to have their sets hosted here at the CS Depot:  While I can help you get everything ready, only you, as the designer, can upload your set.  If you need help with a screenshot of the set to go with your upload, let me know and I'll try to help.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask here on this thread, or pm me at SGW.

If your set is new and not yet listed on the CS List I can take care of that for you, I just need to download the set, go through and pick out tag words for the objects and textures, take a screenshot of the entire set, and add it to the CS List.

If you have updated links to your sets hosted elsewhere I can edit those for you.

I edited my "yes" list above. The names in teal are new additions.

Vodhin has given permission for his sets to be included.  He has requested that his downloads not be broken up, as they not only contain read-me files and the proper hierarchy of files, but also include some other supplemental files needed.

My understanding is that this mega-download will do just that - include the original downloads for each set rather than being taken apart to create some huge installer of CSO.

I haven't updated here lately as we've been busy, but shall shortly!

Sorry I haven't been around. I guess I was depressed and a little out of commission. I guess I'm not the best person to work with, hence the disability! LOL Anyway, I did ask a few more people and will update my list shortly.

This sounds like a great idea!

One thing I don't particularly like though is adding EVERY set to the CS Depot. We should only add ones with broken links, or ones that are hard to find. If we start adding every single set, it will be very hard to find sets in the CS Depot, in my opinion, and it will become very crowded.

i don't think you understand what the CS Depot is. it is meant to be seen as a definitive source for CS,CFR,CTR, Tutorials and other things RCT3 releated. the CS List is begging to be as full as possible.

why would we want to place broken links in here on purpose?

BUT, I want you to add to the pack, my tutorials and readme files too, because my sets contain unique customizable objects, via the importer and so. The Installation of both sets is just in style themed. There's nothing other than that
