Do you get any error message, or does it just crash to the desktop?

What is the difference between your "Custom" park and the other one? What version of Windows are you using? It's very tough to know what is crashing your park, as there could be many reasons.

This thread may help you.

One possibility for crashes has to do with memory. Since RCT3 was designed to use a maximum of 2GB of memory, playing it on operating systems that uses  a lot more can cause problems. Many of my parks crashed when I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. This program stopped the crashes. It's called Large Address Aware. http://www.moddb.com/downloads/large-address-aware1

I have Windows 10, 12Gb of RAM, ....in the "custom park" i use a lot of CS that not use in the other park....

It would be better to back up and reinstall. Not only is it likely that no-one would do that for you as it is sharing Atari's original content. But it could also cause problems placing content from one version of RCT3 to another.

Like I said, back up and reinstall.

Well Personally all of those sets I tend to use quite often. Although mostly I will use Matts, Vodhin's sets and the Mainstreet sets, They create a pleasing look to my parks. You could call most of them generic. However if I am making a specific theme, for example Prehistoric. Then finding lamps to fit can be difficult. In that situation I would find lights that you can hide easily around scenery like DasMatze lights and maybe add a particle effect.

However you were asking originally for Jurassic Park and in this case you could definitely have modern lighting, spots and plain tall high intensity bulbs. Vodhin's has spots and some floodlights in there too.

I know I am not completely clear but, I hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestions, Pixie. I was also very much on the fence regarding lighting. What theme do you usually go for in your park?

For anyone who doesn't know what MTTM is - https://web.archive.org/web/20080618133553/http://www.modstothemax.net:80/community/index.php?action=forum

That's the forum I am coming from. CoasterJoe was here, right? I am desperate to find 2 environments for URDC and it appears none of the people that used to be on the forum is here. Can CoasterJoe be contacted? The name is nearly the same as the one used in MTTM, but in there, there was a 0 in the end of Joe.
